Mr Alun P. Wall

Hip & Knee Surgeon

Mr Wall is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in routine and complex hip surgery

Mr Wall studied medicine at the University of Leicester, graduating in 1999. He performed his basic surgical training in Manchester and went on to higher surgical training in Orthopaedics within the North West. Mr Wall sub-specialised in hip surgery during the latter years of his training and went on to complete a Fellowship in Hip Arthroplasty and Hip Arthroscopy at the world renowned Wrightington Orthopaedic Hospital, UK.

Mr Wall holds a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (Tr & Orth) and has published work in national and international peer reviewed journals. He has recently published work demonstrating a huge rise in the standards of hip fracture care within his NHS practice (British Medical Journal). He is trained in using open and keyhole surgery techniques to treat many conditions, along with cutting edge non-invasive techniques.

Mr Wall was born in Shropshire and grew up in South Wales. He now lives in Cheshire with his family and enjoys music, winter sports, fell walking and cycling.
